Absolutely agree, I don't owe 1p to anyone, no loans, no mortgage, no CC's and a huge stack in the bank......... no better feeling. Absolute freedom to go anywhere and do anything.

I know the feeling well. :j

Don't worry, I'm not a bull trying to convince others to commit financial suicide.

do we really have to do this again... i'll post the thread up in a sec...

you moved in with your mother in 2006 because you had too many debts... your fault no-one elses...

you own an expensive car that is expensive to maintain car but don't want to spend money on buying a house...

you were then thinking to get on the housing ladder you wanted to be a BTL owner. you couldn't because you couldn't get the finance...

you've suddenly changed your tune...

Sorry you obviously have me confused with someone else and no need to threaten me  as anyone is free to go over to HPC themselves, but thanks again for the unwarranted vitriol. You really don't sound very happy. :(

    chucky whats your profession?
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Erm, chucky. This is getting slighly obsessional now. It's quite eerie, and I'm not even sure (and I doubt anyone else is) what it's even in aid of.
