THAT'S gloomy!
It is ridiculous isn't it.
People have been so conditioned into to thinking high house prices are good that they cannot see how they actually make people poorer not richer."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

That is the 'leading housing market commentator':rotfl::rotfl:, who would've thunk he'd have said that.:D
I heard him on Radio 2 the other day (my car stereo refuses to provide XFM anymore).
Apprently the problem isnt with the housing market. The problem is people; people not serving the housing market's needs by not earning enough, not having enough saved, and not being able to get big enough loans.
But thats all solved now he thinks so prices can go back up.

Dr Dong thinks we're doomers cus he probably bought at peak and wants to turn his debt into wealth by handing his debt to us in a few years time....... of course he will counter my post by saying he has 50k in the bank and owns outright and has been mortgage free for the last 10 years.:D0 -

Absolutely agree, I don't owe 1p to anyone, no loans, no mortgage, no CC's and a huge stack in the bank......... no better feeling. Absolute freedom to go anywhere and do anything.0
