  • The online price has been fixed; I would wager that all of the instore prices have been fixed too. Can someone confirm this deal is expired?

should I cancel my order? CAn I cancel? or can I just refuse it at the door due to price inrease?

Currently it is in my basket at £1.51 x 12. Although still processing order to be delivered between 2-4pm today. Will I get charged £4.98??

I've never used Asda before, I signed up last night because of this.. the terms seem to say I'll get charged whatever it get scanned at? surely they have a check in place to ensure people bills aren't doubling / tripleing from what they ordered online?

Are Asda even allowed to say they'll charge whatever is the price on the day or delivery? Surely if ordered at £1.51 they should like any other retailer honor it.

Say if I ordered a Television for £499 in the sale, and the day after the sale finished, no-one else would say you have to pay the non-sale price.

    ???

Generally (certainly the case with Tescos) you have the option of not taking anything that turns up and returning it with the driver for a refund. This is true of substitutions, price increases or just because you've changed your mind about something.
So yes, they can charge the valid price for the day, but they can't make you pay it if you decide not to have it.

Not at all! I was excited by the idea rather than putting it down.

Same with me, first order, although I ordered some wine as well. I really doubt they'll deliver the beer at the original price. Let us know how you get on........and good luck!

Looking at 'my account' it appears to be going through. However, I notice my order for the Beer also appears in 'my trolley' for the new price - so assume I won't be getting it.

It usually states in the terms and conditions that the price you pay is the price in store on the day of delivery. HTH
