We've had a lovely day at a local mini theme park, it costs £10.75 each to get in but used Mr T's vouchers and paid £1.50 on top
While we were there we spent £2.50 on an extra car ride and £4.30 on drinks. The weather is gorgeous and we had a really good time. Now we're trying to cool off and chill out for a bit.

Its weigh-in day and the scales are telling me I've shifted 2lbs this week, thanks Davina!! :j :j I'm now only 1/2lb heavier than I was 11 years ago
Definitely starting to feel better about how I look although I got ds to take some photos of me from the front/back and side and omg, my @rse/thighs/hips are still huuuuuuge!!!! How did I never realise how bad they were??
Today ds is going out with mum and dad for the day, I'm out for lunch with a friend and then will be making sure I go for my walk and do davina again todayOther than that I need to get some more fresh bits, salad/milk etc, but otherwise am hoping for a relatively cheap day. Off to do the banking and check emails

Those problem areas are awful arent they, for me its my tummy and top of thighs:o
Trouble is any weight I lose seems to come of the bits I dont want it to first, have gone down a bra size and there wasnt much there to begin with:rotfl:
Well done on the loss this week:TBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I always thought it was my tummy too Louise, until I saw pictures from the back
The only other downside with losing weight is there is a much greater temptation to spend money on clothes

For me its more of a case of fitting into clothes that I have only looked at in the wardrobe for a few years. New clothes do give you a lift though. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Wooooooo :j:j:j:j
Well done you!! You are doing fantastically, and it is well deserved!
After OH left, I did get rid of the majority of my clothes, as a bit of a "cleansing" thingthat meant that my weight loss has resulted in some spending, but I did keep some work dresses and work suits that were either very expensive, or very classic, but that have not been worn for years.....
This week, I have worn 3 "new" dresses and one suit that have not seen the light of day for at least 5 years. One dress even had the tags on because I had bought it to slim into, but never got there before!
And YES, my lower half is still rather blobby, but I figure that it is 26lbs LESS blobby than it was at Christmas, so it must be looking a whole lot better!
For me, though, it is the longer term, keeping the weight off, that I normally struggle with, but I have to say I am loving the feeling I have of being slimmer now, and the confidence it is bringing me, so I hope that will be sufficient motivation to keep the weight off in the longer term!
Sorry, turned into a me me me me me post!

I agree Louise although I did bin a lot of stuff that I thought I wouldn't fit into again. I can now fit into everything in my wardrobe again which is nice but unfortunately most of it is black / grey and baggy whereas I'm feeling more confident and want things that 'fit' better now and are slightly more flattering rather than hiding everything
Hypno I know what you mean, I dread to think how I looked from behind at christmas, its bad enough nowbut at least I know its 20lbs lighter than it was then, and when I think thats equivalent to almost 3 x ds birthweight then that does seem a pretty huge amount to have lost :rotfl::rotfl:

Not the day I was expecting but a good one nonetheless
Ds went to mums for a bit while I went for lunch with a friend which was lovely to catch up. We've arranged to do a car boot sale together next weekend so tomorrow now will be spent sorting the garage out ready. Then I went to mums and we took ds up the forest with his bike and suddenly today it clicked, he's been able to ride his bike but a bit wobbly, but today suddenly its like he's been riding it for years, he did about 3 miles altogether and would happily have done more but we couldn't keep up with him
So now I am going to seriously look for a bike for me, I ummed and ahhed about one last week but will check out ebay too although theres been nothing much on there recently.
The jeans I bought from ebay arrived today too, they fit really nicely but are a bit too light blue for me I think, I like dark blue / indigo jeans and these are fairly lightI'll give it a day or two to decide and if not I'll stick them back on ebay.
Tonight I have done the ironing and the flat is tidy just needs a good clean and hoover through tomorrow before I go back to work. Ds has an inset day on monday so mum is going to take him out on his bike again. Theres a really good bit in the forest that used to be a ww2 airfield and is only used by people going to a campsite now, so theres virtually no cars up there at all and because the old runways are dead straight it makes a brilliant place to practice riding a bike as long as you dodge the odd cow / horse / pigMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
