Well ds is now at home tucked up in bed :o He still wouldn't settle so his dad decided to let him come home, so I've jut done an hours trip through the forest to meet him. No idea what its all about, will try and chat with him properly tomorrow but yes, I think it could well be to do with the moving :(:(

Morning all, its a nice sunny one here for a change :) The plan today involves getting dressed and out fairly early, to go and spend some time at the train station , then maybe a nice walk if the weather is still nice. I also need to drop a birthday present at my aunts house, and be back by 1.30 for a couple of inplay bets :) Then this afternoon will be a mixture of cooking a roast chicken, doing homework with ds, a few bits of housework and ironing :)

We've had a fun trip to the station to do some train-spotting  :o Ds loved it though so thats the important bit. Then we went round to my aunts and now we're having some lunch before I do my bets and ds is going to sit at the table and make a book about the trains he saw :)

Ds has been whinging like crazy this afternoon due to being so tired, anyway, my bets didn't go to plan at all, I somehow deleted a formula from the spreadsheet half way through, but couldn't figure out how much more to lay :o Then, once the match had finished I realised that instead of backing £5 (the freebet) I had backed £10  and laid accordingly :o:o Luckily for me the bet won (2-1 correct score) :j So I ended up making £20 and £6 respectively from the free bets, I was very very lucky, next time I need to make sure there are no tired children anywhere near when I'm trying to bet, lesson learned ;):D

Phew - lucky indeed BB, glad it worked out for you!

I wonder if with all the talk of moving, DS had got into his head somewhow that you might not be there when he returned if he was away too long? Sounds daft I know but kids do get strange and - to us - illogical ideas don't they.

Phew! Definitely luck on your side today!!

Every single bet of mine with the exception of 1 has gone the way of the bookies - all that money I would have won if I had mugged them!! But of course, had I done that, they all would have lost......

So, several hundred pounds now waiting to be transferred back to my bank account where they can go back into the various pots they have been borrowed from......I have £30 of my bet fred snr on a match this afternoon.....which will leave £60 of that still to work through, but I can't do any more until I have funds back in betfair.....

ah well.....I know I am in profit - this week hasn't been too bad, even taking into account the dire odds on some of them!

once again, thank you for getting me back into it!

EH, I think you may be right, I've had a chat with him and he says he's not worried about moving and he's excited but I think it may be subconsciously on his mind :o

Having said he'd been whingy all afternoon he suddenly snapped out of it, he had his bath and then sat down and did his homework, it is supposed to take 10 minutes but took him almost an hour because it was writing and he is painfully slow at it but he did persevere and did it pretty well too :T :T

Hypno, I'm glad you're back into the betting world too, its amazing how quickly the odd £5 here and there from reloads adds up, that holiday fund will be huge before you know it :D
