T-Mobile Dongle Contract
Hi folks, a very good day to you all,
This is not so much a problem but an enquiry:
I took out a 24 month contract with T-Mobile for their excellent dongle service in February 2008. I am due to move to university this coming September and with my halls, will receive free broadband internet, thus rendering the dongle redundant. I've spoken with T-Mobile about this and they say the only solution is to pay an early cancellation fee of something in the region of £100, continue using the service, or palm the little blighter off onto someone else to pay!
It's a cost of £15 per month which is surely likely to eat into my meager student finances which makes it unsuitable to keep paying for and I don't know anyone who needs it!
Any ideas how I can resolve my dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
JWT

Unfortunately they have already given you all the options. Best bet is to sell it on to someone you trust and then the direct debit can be changed, however the contract remains in your name should they stop paying or go over the data limit.
The early termination fee is the same as you would pay if the contract ran it's course, so if you are paying for it you might as well keep it to use outside of your university hall.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
one thing you could also do is change the price plan on the sim to a call plan and use it in a mobile other than tho thev already given you all options available0

Never mind then! I suppose I'll either have to find someone or bite the bullet and pay for it!
Thanks very much folks!0
