So for my benefit ( I can't see it in the replies already posted ) do you have to offer free P&P to get free listing for 99p items? If you will the end, you must will the means.0

You may not complain but I bet others would. Especially if its not in the listing
it will cost them more to return recorded delivery then they paid for the cd LOL
i would probably start the cds at at least 1.99 and send in original case just for less hassle but as a buyer i wouldnt complain receivin a cd in a different case personally unless it was a copy, i wouldnt want a dvd in a cd style case though as i keep those in my dvd cabinet nd it wouldnt fit right0 -

But it will cost the seller more in DSRs and Negatives which it seems I have to spell out0 -
personally i cant see anyone complaining about it for 99p at the end of the day they a bidding on the cd and as long as the case that its sent in is in the picture its no big deal, cds come in different cases all the time, ive got some in the new style slimmer types and some in the old fashioned ones. i bet most people wont even notice or care for 99p0

Oh yes people will complain..If I got a CD in a cardboard case and was expecting one as sold in a shop then I might not bother returning it but I would let the seller know I felt the item was misrepresented and depending on their reply I would definitely reflect that in my stars..2 * maybe for item as described?

i dont think the OP was sending in a cardboard case but the smaller new style jewel cases that are identical to the old thicker ones but slightly slimmer and more modern looking, all the cds in my local HMV come in them now and i would be none the wiser if i bought one on ebay nd it came in it as to whetherr that was its original case or not.
cases also get broken and people put them in to new cases.
if i got a cardboard case and it wasnt mentioned in the listing i might be a little miffed not enough to complain.0 -
You dont have to have free postage on cds, so i would revisse the 99p cd listings and put £1 in for postage0

It is the jewel cases I will use,a proper cd case just slimmer.Stiff cardboard envelope to send it in as its slimmer(and cheaper) than a padded envelope.Tesco jersey and HMV etc all use the cardboard postal sleeves already."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Last items I bought from HMV online, which was only a couple of months ago, all came in original full sized jewel cases protected by strong cardboard outer packaging box provided by HMV.
When I buy a CD online, I expect it to be supplied in the same packaging as it would be if I bought it in a shop (unless it specifically stated otherwise); I'd be mightily peeved if it wasn't."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Most of the recent discs I have bought in shops recently have been in these new slimmer cases, thats what I am using, just swapping the old wider cases for the new slimmer ones. They are the same dimensions other than the thickness, still fit in cd stands etc.
When I sell the first one in a slimmer case I will let you know what the feedback is from the customer."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
