Paying for things on a 0% card, just so you can make overpayments isn't a good way of doing things IMHO.
How are you going to pay back the money? Can you get repayments back?
The conventional way of using 0% deals is stoozing. You collect interest (or don't pay it if you have an offset mortgage) on the money you've got for 0%.
Spending it instead could cause problems down the line.0 -
Golfiematt, sorry things aren't looking so good today but take a look at all the progress you have made so far. Life has a horrible way of getting in the way of mortgage repayments or other things we want to do. If you don't make a payment this month, does it really matter? Think how far you have come and look at it as a minor setback. If you remain thrifty you could pay off that credit card and still have room for a small overpayment the month after.
Take care and chin up!0 -

managed to O.P £500 again this month:j. my credit card is still there but im worrying about that next year with 12 months 0% i want to finish this year on a high. I was hoping someone may have a spreadsheet/ a formula to work out how many months ive knocked off my term or the estimated repayment date, this would help no end in motivating me to O.P.Mortgage free:beer:

Did you find out about tax credits? I am sure there is something you can claim?
It does get like an addiction to overpay each month so I know where you are coming from there.
