Dialaphone Customer Service Assistants go beyond the call of duty!
This is partly relevent to the Vodafone thread I placed on here.
The story in a nutshell.
Ordered 2 phones via Dialaphone. One was approved and the other was not. It turned out that Dialaphone would only allow me a maximum of 2 contract phones in a 3 month period.
We had bought an Orange one recently.
Emma did her level best to secure another handset for me but sadly to no avail.
Anyway, I decided to see what Vodafone could do direct for the other one. To be fair they came within £30 of the net cost of a Dialaphone supplied handset.
All went well until I tried to port my existing O2 numbers over to the two Vodafone contracts. The all hell broke loose though Vodafone's complete incompetence.
The contract I had via Dialaphone got cancelled though a Vodafone employee's desperate attempts to effect a solution. That employee replaced it with one of their own, which was more expensive and came without a phone!!!!
Even though Dialaphone now had no commercial interest. They made the effort to liaise with Vodafone to try to effect a solution. When Vodafone were unresponsive, I suggested to Kevin at Dialaphone that a 3 way conversation was set up. Well they only organised a conference call!
So there was a Vodafone employee, Emma from Dialaphone and me all on the line together! The telephone conversation to beat all previous telephone conversations lasted 2 hours - right the way through Emma's lunch break! All she wanted to do was to see the problem sorted. She stood by me all the way and fought my case.
The result was a resolution of the problem that I was very happy with. Even though Dialaphone had had their contract cancelled, Emma's main concern was that I was not financially inconvenienced by Vodafones massive cockup.
Fact is that Dialaphone is full of people who are usually prepared to help out and I just happened to get Emma who is the best of the best. She has already been the subject of a phone call to her team senior to commend her for her efforts. A letter to the MD/CEO of Dialaphone is next.
When these Vodafone contracts are up, I'm going back to Dialaphone. I'd be silly not to!
Emma, if you're reading this, you are now famous :T:T:T You know who you are and no doubt who I am. Once again thank you, but that really doesn't seem enough.
