carphoen warehouse cancelled order

I set up a Vodafone contract with CPW last week, and the phone arrived yesterday. I changed my mind about the contract, and in accordance with their 14 day returns policy I sent it back Royal Mail Special Delivery, and it I tracked that it arrived today.
Will CPW contact me confirming receipt of the phone, and also confirm that the contract has been cancelled.

having worked at cpw for 18 months, my experience would say that you wont recieve anything as confirmation, best thing to do is pop into a store and they can check for you.
