Positive review submitted here too. I meant to review it a while ago! I wonder how long it takes for our new reviews to appear, I would have imagined at least a couple should have been approved by now?

I think most people would take more heed of the overall rating of products on Amazon anyway- specially with a lot of reviews The book still has an average customer review of 4+ stars .

With all these people rushing off to add positive reviews you do wonder if Amazon have any safeguards in place to detect astroturfing... if they do this could get interesting.

One bad review is not going to cause a book to drop down the ratings.

Have you read this thread through?? If so, then you will have seen Martin's posts, and wouldn't need to ask that question.

With 'astroturfing' being describe as this:

"They are instructed on what to say, how to say it, where to send it, and how to make it appear that their indignation, appreciation, joy, or hate is entirely spontaneous and independent"

I really don't think any of us have anything to worry about, after all, we are legitimately reviewing a book we've read, and certainly not being instructed to do so!

    Don't worry Martin.

If you want to know how to stand an egg on its end then you need at least three precisely positioned grains of salt. You could just scatter a pinch of salt and try your luck.

There are now two negative reviews at the top of the Amazon page!

Finally motivated me to add a glowing review of my own! :o
