D900 / D900i Unlocking

Options
Hi there,

I found the following info on another site and it worked on my D900i when changing from T-Mobile to 02... The second part was also posted for a D900.

I found that leaving parts 6 and 7 until you have made a call or txt first worked for me, but that could be because I did something wrong first time I tried it... so if you don't get the message "Network lock activated" after entering part 6, and "Network Lock Disabled" after entering part 7, then just start all over again as I did, and it worked!

First time I tried and switched off, and on again, it came up "Network Code" so I knew I did something wrong first time, so had to go through all stages again, so keep hold of your 'Old' Sim until you know the unlocking works with you.... and dont fill your contacts list again until you know it works with you, or you will loose everything with a reset

btw - By changing the NCK Password all you need to do is type in the numbers as if you were making a normal call... you do not need to seek out settings for the NCK in order to change that.... Pop up the slider and just start typing in the numbers as stated below.

It's a bit fiddly having the Sim half way in and trying to insert the battery, but just lift the sim slightly and slide the battery under it.

D900i Unlocking

Have tested it on a e250 and a d900i,both unlocked easily. Checked imei,it is still original & phones appear to be fully functional....

PLEASE BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE UNLOCKING
This will also bring the phone to default settings
1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878#
turn off the phone
2. take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert only a half of it,
Very important so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.(possibly in a different language)
Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on .(phone shows "Insert SIM" message.)
3.push the sim fully in at this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
4. Make a FULL reset: *2767*3855#
5. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
6. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
7. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000#
Phone is unlocked

D900 Unlocking

It's strange, I follow your method to crack my D900 from Orange, finally it is unlocked.

However, there are a little bit difference.

1.First, with the original network SIM card(Orange) and battery on. Key *2767*2878# for a custom reset.
2.Power off the phone and take out battery and SIM card.
3.Half insert your new SIM card(other network, a working one), then place the battery into the phone. Keep the new SIM half inserted and no need to put the back cover.
4. Switch on your phone, it would say insert a SIM card cos there is no SIM fully inserted. Then just pushed your new SIM fully into the slot.
5. Do a FULL reset: *2767*3855#
6. It will reboot after a while and then my phone is unlocked after this step???? STRANGE?
