TubePro is a No frills, no gimmicks, just quick and easy application for the iPhone and iPod touch and is the fastest iPhone and iPod touch application of its kind.

With just 4 screen taps, it tells you exactly which London Underground train carriage to board so that when you get out, you’ll be opposite the exit you want - including multiple street Exits, Line Interchanges, British Rail, Airport and DLR.

How does it work? I hear you ask, well lets say I'm about to take the Victoria line south to Victoria station and want to interchange to the Circle line.

Step 1: Tap the line you are about to take
Step 2: Tap the direction of travel
Step 3: Tap your destination station
Step 4: Tap which platform exit you want
Result: Tube Pro tells you which carriage to stand in to be opposite the exit selected! It's that easy!

Don't just take my word for it check it out for yourself at tubepro.co.uk! It's just £1.19 from the iPhone App Store.

If i remember correctly there's a book you can buy with the same information in...

Shame someone hasn't come up with a really decent underground App.. I'd like some fun features such as:
Use my GPS (and google maps walking routes) to tell me where my nearest underground station is
Use the TFL underground disruption map (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/tube/default.html) for routing information
Include the local train lines around london
    Pre-stored common routes

I've yet to see an underground tool i've really liked

edit - just found this competitor product - http://www.tubeexits.co.uk/media.html

WHY DOES NO ONE MAKE THESE FOR SYMBIAN PHONES.. grr

I thought I was just being helpful, I think it's a brilliant thing, speaking as someone who is always trying to guess where to stand to be right by the exit; it seems perfect to me, take out the guess work!

I agree there are many things that would be useful/helpful to have access to via phones; maybe they'll come along soon; I would love this app on my blackberry; how good would that be? Still a good app and a tad mor up to date and easier than a book I think, don't you?
  • Check out the mobile app Tubemap at mxdata.co.uk/products/tube_map.aspx
Best London tube app I've found, slick design and good features including livetube network info, station searching and route planner with journey times and change info. Works sweet on my e71.
