All depends what you mean by Hawaii, it's a few islands so depends if you are based on one or moving round.

On Oahu Pearl Harbor and Waimea Bay (or something like that name a bit up the coast from Honolulu)

    loads of things to do
must do thing for us were
taking the circle island tour(we did it once on a small tour bus once in a convertable.)
    snorkel at Hanahuma bay.
    drinks at dukes
    food at tikis
    hike up diamond head
    body surfing waikiki beach
whale watching tour(wrong time of year now ?)
the zoo and aquarium are small but cute.

depend what sort of thing you are looking for really.
check out the planner on www.gohawaii.com as they list local events.
we watched movies on the beach while we were there, awesome!

    Harsh!
we prefered Oahu to The Big island
you do have to go off the beaten track a bit on Oahu to see the best stuff but we spent 5 weeks(over 2 hols) on Oahu and there were still things we didn't do.

Do the submarine trip if you get the chance - its a fab way to see all the marine life including turtles and sharks. And if you're into shopping, take the bus to Ala Moana (I think thats what its called!) which is a large shopping centre with a lot more shops that in Waikiki beach. Oh, and don't forget the Cheesecake Factory - definitely worth a visit!! xx

well if you dive and are going to the big island I can recommend the manta night dive with this company.

    they were fantastic.
we didn't dive the north shore as it was the dangerous time of year when we went.

which hotel are you staying at?
feel free to ask any Q's about Oahu as it is one of my favourite topics.;)

Hi.....I might just try the diving onj the Big Island...thanks.

We are staying at the Reosrtquest Waikiki Beach..... Hotels don't seem up to much in Waikiki...unless you are really paying OTT prices.

Was thinking of hiring a car and trying out the North side of the island to see what its like???

Dave and Busters ??? Looks like it could be fun....i'm up for that :j:j:j
