Rail Travel: Tips on Cheap Tickets

Looks like all cheaper form of ticket are N/A apart from the £19.60 fare on there cant seem to find any other fare im afraid. Is something on that day?

NXEA haven't finalised their journey planner for the 4th June yet due to late notice engineering works, but according to their website they should resolve this soon.

My advice wait a bit longer just in case NXEA release some cheap advance singles for the 4th, the £19.60 Super Off Peak Single will be the same price now and on the day of travel, so if you wait you might be lucky.

Livingthedream - thanks for that, at least I know what's going on now.
As you say, it's now just a case of keep trying really.

Also means I now have to leave extra early (and I'm not a morning person!) - got to make a Eurostar connection to Paris, then on to Spain from there - going to be an even longer day than I thought!

I am looking to travel from Skegness to Airdrie or Glasgow between Sunday 23rd july and Tuesday 25th July and return either Friday 29th afternoon or Saturday 30th July morning.

Any help would be great for 1 adult ticket.

Advance Singles between Skegness and Glasgow are available at £31.60 each way on 23 and 30 July (both Saturdays by the way).
I've not checked other days.

Must book on East Coast Trains website for those fares.

Thanks I will have a look. Might be just as cheap using my car. It a one off journey I am going to butlins with my wife and kids with our touring caravan but I can only stay for part of the holiday due to work so I need to return home for work on then go back to bulins to collect them.

I was wanting to leave them the car to get around, my wife can drive but she can't tow the caravan

Hi I am after a cheap return from Manchester Airport to Ramsgate on 9th June return on 12 I can go a day either side of those I am also not bothered about taking a slower route and changing a few times.
