It's for all rail tickets booked at thetrainline.com - although I don't know if this applies to railcards etc.

Any promotion codes for manchester-london I want to go on the 8th of June (thursday around evening time) other way would be megabus... I found some 10 pound single tickets but everytime it goes through it says error...even though I can still select it. After that I go through to the hotels and insurance page. I press submit and I get...

The train is fully booked.

The compulsory reservation required is unavailable.

The connection to the National Reservation System is unavailable.

The train may be closed for reservations.

Any tips?

National Rail Enquiries is working at the moment...
The latest time on Thursday with a Value Advance Fare from Manchester to London tomorrow is at 14.15 at £18 (or £11.90 if you have a RailCard). Alternatively, MegaBus is £7 leaving Manchester at 18.15

for some reason it is cheaper to travel from Folkestone to London than vice versa. And so it goes.

Apparently, according to national rail enquiries, you need to leave Stoke the night before and spend 6 hours on Wolverhampton station to arrive by 8a.m. !!
To get there for 8:15 is showing as £46 single, if you can arrive at 8:48 it drops to £12:50 single.
