It's so the courier can ring you - though their is nothing stopping The Body Shop putting your phone number on other documentation they give to the courier company.

If you are unhappy write a firmly worded complaint to the company.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
  • Are you serious? I have never seen anything like that. I would ask why it was included, and then request they don't do that agian.

Ebay also put your phone number on the invoices under your address which people then stick to the front of packages.

If it makes you unhappy, do not give them your mobile number = problem solved.

    What harm is it doing?

Do you think your courier is going to steal it and call you every night and send you text messages?

Surely them having access to your mobile number is no worse than anyone having access to your address. In fact, it's no where near as worse.

I've had companies do this before and hey presto, I'm still alive.

I agree I dont really see the harm

I don't think delivery drivers have enough time in their schedules to be sorting parcels and writing down mobile numbers
And what would they then do with them anyway ?

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

I gave my number in good faith , how was I to know that they'd pin it next to my details on full view?
    Hindsight is a wonderful thing:rolleyes:

    It is only
    on full view
to those who might need to contact you to aid your delivery.

Why did you think they asked for your number? You will know better next time :rotfl:

    LOADS of companies do it!

It so the courier can ring you if there are any issues

Do you lot still live in your kitchen cupboards?
  • Whats the problem, would you rather the courier not be able to get hold of you, so you rant about cards being left & delaying your delivery?

Its only when they use couriers, its not like its gonna be show to every tom !!!!!! and harry. !
