    i left uni last year and went travelling australia... now i miss both!!! left both sets of mates. back to my smelly home town and my 3 friends who live here. :rotfl:

    I missed Uni so much I went back three times.

    Getting a job and earning money was something I just did in between.

    I've now left Uni for good now and started a career. After my last graduation I felt really sad and I really missed the "student role" in my life.

    No doubt I shall go back to it one day but I do sympathise with the sense of sadness you feel.

    i went back to uni 12 months after finishing my undergrad course and loved it all over again :beer:

    i've long since finshed now, but plan to do a PhD one day :rolleyes:

    i feel like i'm in a sort of reverse situ. i'm starting uni in september but having lived here all my life i'm leaving loads of friends behind! so i feel a bit sad about starting uni!

    for those of you who moved away from home for uni - did your friends from home keep in touch and visit? i'm worried they're gonna forget about me :(
