    My dad gives me half a sheep each winter (He's from the Highlands and gets them dirt cheap!) and we eat very well in the cold weather! I rarely buy it from the supermarket now unless it's whoopsied!

    by the way, has anyone commented on the fact that there are NO LENTILS in their mince bedrock recipe! Nooooo!

    Had spaghetti bolognese with added lentils last night and was yummy..mmmm


    and no oats either!!! and a kilo of mince could do a month of meals for a good mse'r once it was properly bulked out

    i didnt use vanilla essecne or nuts

    golden syrup cost me £0.93 (tub) from tesoc
    plain chocolate value 0.24
    coco powder £1.24 (tub)
    flour value 30p
    butter

    you hardly use any of the syrup or the cocoa powder so as i say the actual recipe costs less than £2.40 for a tray
