Thought it was quite good last night, althrough think next week will be proper economy!
I shop at Sainsbury too - Asda has gone downhill lately
But I als shop in Farmfoods , Aldi, Netto and rarely now at Asda unless it is something specific that I can only get in thereBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Why do you need a bread maker? Get a big bowl, some scales and a couple of bread tins. Ten mins hands on time at the weekend;)

Depends where & when you buy it. I stocked up on the individually wrapped frozen ones from Mr T when the bags of 8 were £5 - so 62.5p each, which is cheaper than using the whole one and no need to have it 3 or 4 times in a week0

I have changed my shopping habits - I do a tesco online shop once per week/fortnight, go to the butchers for most meat (will be all my meat eventually) & the farm shop for fruit n veg.
I used to go on the special offers page before anything else & snap up what I thought were bargains then do the shopping on my list. Now I do whats on my list only then have a look at the special offers if I have funds leftover. Obviously stuff thats on my list & is on special offer is fantastic. Since I have been doing this my shopping costs have been much lower.
I do not ignore special offers though, for example my local Nisa has my favourite treat of Choca Mocha on bogof with a long use by date so I now have quite a few in my cupboards
From September I start adding a Christmas () item each week. It works for me but I am at home all the time so it makes it a little easier. At the moment we do not have an Aldi or Lidl nearby.0 -

We don't make pizza from scratch, I buy the base & we make pizza. Its far better than any Lidls or any cheap/medium price pizza (I would rate it up with Pizza Hut).
No way on earth is any homemade pizza bettered by Lidls!
I so agree with you my DH has never been a lover of Pizza until he tried my HM one - he can't get enough of it now and my DD and her friends love it and say it beats Domino's pizzas hands down ( we are having it tonight in fact)Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
