also found that registering with estate agents, they actually call you before putting the house on rightmove to save on their listing fees and have actually been to view a house that went on before it landed on rightmove and it sold, so even though they are sometimes a pain, you can find a gem of an agent sometimes!. I remember one house I called up about which the EA was enthusing that they hoped we liked it because we were is such a good position. It's a shame I had to see it on RM and he hadn't bothered to contact me before even though he had my details and knew I was specifically looking for a house of that size/price/location.

rightmoveI started this post a few months ago anyway , i like to think that when i am wrong i will admit it and thats why ive had to dig up this old thread , and say i have finally bought a house, and guess what it wasnt on rightmove.
So everyone i think i may have been wrong on this one, and maybe there is more to small estate agents that dont actually use rightmove.

The house I bought wasn't on my Rightmove either. It was on Rightmove, but it was too cheap to show up in my searches. I picked it up a few days late on the EA's site.0
