I applied for it from a bridal magazine about 2 months ago. For me they were really quick to contact me. If i recal what i recieved was actually a letter from my local hair group salon. I claimed my voucher shortly after. I have been thinking about claiming again usng my parents address!! Naughty me!
Hope you all hear something soon.0 -
I am near the end of my third year at college doing hairdressing, we too offer cheap hair doos. I would highly reccomend the one I am at (Boston LINCS) yes you have to fit in "school times" and yes they are slower, they are students learning the trade after allbut their superviser is always around for help and advise, so you get a good cut, and probably even more trendy than the local hairdressers!! there are three levels you an go for, 1st 2nd and 3rd years!!(slow to fast!)0

does any one know if this offer covers the old trick of charging extra for a restyle ??
it says cut but most salons round here charge more for a restyle which means anything other than what youve already got

I haven't either. Wanted my hair doing for Easter as well, didn't think it would take this long.Dream of being mortgage free....

I sent off the Prima coupon in Feb, then got a text a few weeks ago saying it'd be with a certain salon. I rang the salon but they said they weren't in the Hair Group any more. I rang the Hair Group and they said I'd hear from another one in a couple of weeks - no word yet.
Meanwhile, I got a letter from another hairdresser offering me a half price cut - they'd got my details from the Hair Group. I went there but got an awful cut  - think Janet Krankie.
Now I'm wondering whether
a) I might still get the promised free cut,
b) whether I should go back and risk them messing it up even more, or
c) if I should admit defeat and pay my regular hairdresser to tidy it up.
Suppose the moral is that a bargain cut is only a bargain if you're happy with the results. I lost a really good style to save £12.50. Ah well.

My partner registered by filling in form in Weightwatchers magazine and had a call within 2 weeks from Headmasters in Fareham. She had an appointment at the local salon, had a cut and blow dry & head and back massage by top stylist so she is very happy. She has now decided to change to using them and because she is over 60 gets a discount. Excellent service.0

I'm very disappointed with the Hair Group as I sent off the coupon from Prima magazine in February and after waiting several weeks to hear from them, I rang the number on the offer web site and was told that my details hadn't gone through the system, despite being received weeks before! I was informed that they'd be put through manually, but here I am, still waiting! We're going to a 'black tie' dinner tonight and was really looking forward to a new hairstyle, still, I shan't give up as I intend to buy the Siansbury's magazine and send that coupon in! Never say die!! Keep up the good works out there!0
