Nokia 6280 and T mobile reduced line rental (on Tmobile site)
Hi
Has anyone got the Nokia 6280? Any problems with it? Orange are meant to be releasing it soon. Anyone know when T mobile will?
I am on orange and am thinking of changing to t mobile, with flext25 tarrif (reduced on their website). Orange offered me (when I asked for my PAC code) -
Line rental £20 (half price for 6 months) 18 month contract
250 texts
200 minutes
and Nokia 6280 but seem to be changing thier mind about the phone now, and saying it too expensive. I was thinking of Motorola SLVR but do realy want a Nokia (6280).
Orange seem to not recrod thier offers and I have to go through negociating it again each time I talk to disconnections.
I have a month with the PAC code, so may try calling them again when Organge has the Nokia 6280 out.
I have been with Orange for about 8 years!!!
Any thoughts,advice, knowledge,
Thanks

Hi
I have just moved to T mobile after about 8 Years with Orange! I was quite happy with Orange but wanted the NoKia 6280 which Orange seem to be having major problems with! T Mobile seem ok at the moment although it is early days - have spoken to the call centre once and the guy was really pleasant - coverage seems ok and their Flex contracts are really good and suit me for my phone useage!
I really wanted the Nokia 6280 even thought have read quite a few stories about problems with it, particularly from customers who got them on the 3 network! I really like the phone, just have one slight problem with it at the moment and am going to visit the T Mobile shop tomorrow!
Good Luck in whatever you decide!0 -
Hi ya
Thanks for your reply. A very similar story to me!
I just wondered where you got your phone from, was it in store? They don't have it on the T mobile website yet.
Thanks0 -
Hi
I did get mine from the T Mobile site - took a few days after I ordered as they had run out of stock!0 -
im wanting to get the nokia 6280 on flext20 or flext25 plan? Where can i get that?
Even if not on that plan, any other cheap contracts going about?0 -
I got the Nokia 6280 from instore T- Mobile. I believe they take a phone off their website if it goes out of stock. Only had a couple of minor issues where the phone has crashed a couple of times but has rebooted ok. Overall very happy with the phone.0

Thanks I will try instore.0

O2 are offering this phone to new customers for free - cheapest tariff is £19 per month for 50 x net minutes and 300 texts - don;t know if that helps anyone.Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0

That's a good deal, I was wondering what O2's reception is like.
Anyone know?
Thanks0 -
I have been with them for 4 years now and have never had any problems whatsoever with reception - I live in Northamptonshire.
Only problem that I did have when they launched the 3G thingy, was that I struggled to get a reception in certain areas, but this has sorted itself out as the coverage has got much much better.Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0 -
Thanks ns!0
