I want to go for o2 1000 mins xnet, and 150 txt. I have the choice between these 3 handsets: Nokia N70, Sony eric w800i or samsung z320i.

any suggestions which one is better.

I know the answer is different from one to another,, however i just want a rough guidance.

The w800i is a good well featured phone, the N70 is a smartphone (different leage, but not at the top of it from what I read - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=184177). No idea about the other.

EDIT: Much as Sam says - the wifes d750i (the same phone) is great.

  • I have a W800i, best handset I've ever owned!! Takes excellent pictures, is really easy to use, looks good and even stores my fav music. I couldn't comment on the others but I'm really pleased with this one. :j

My hubbys got a N70 and he's very happy with it, can even have sat nav on it, though have heard its best to have the lastest 'firmware' on it so it runs smoothly. :T

Also have a w800i, very happy with mine, top phone! Two mates have N70's and are happy with them, however they are a bit bigger than the w800i so that may affect your decision. Don't go with a Samsung, not as customisable as the Nokia or Sony Ericsson, unless you like only having a choice of ten message alerts, alarm sounds, etc.
