Talkworld K500i ....advice wanted
Talkworld are offering the Sony K500i on Orange 100 anytime (crossnetwork), with free 12 months line rental.
I'm considering going for this, I've taken cashback offers in the past with Diala phone and not had much hassle. But on reading other posts about Onestopphoneshop, I'm not sure if Talkworld are a easy firm to deal with. Any advice would be appreciated, or pointers to better offers.

Hi,
I would use the following companys in this order.
E2save.
Dialaphone
OSPS
Talkworldonline.
I would be also worried about the company going bust hence my order. E2save are part of CPW and have some good deals if you keep a track on there website. Hopefully The carphonewarehouse will have some cashback deals in the new year...Fingers crossed.

if you are worried that a company will go bust then osps is your best bet.
guy at orange told me that are responsible for 25% of all orange connections.
seems to me they are a pretty stable company.
as 4 e2save whos to say that if they are not doing well carphone wharehouse wont dump them (although it si unlikely)
as 4 dialaphone - be aware most of their cashback is not real cahsback but goes towards your phone bill which is not much good if they pay it at month 120 -
If you are considering this offer, Talkworldonline rely on you dropping to YourPlan 30 for the final 6 months, whereas Onestopphoneshop pay 12 months at the full line rental (eg OVP Vodafone Anytime 200 at £30 per month, £360 cashback, but paid in 3 installments with you having to remember to claim). However, the offer itself is one thing to consider, the companies themselves another (there are many posts on here discussing the various companies).
All the cashbacks appear to rely, in a small part, on you remembering to claim in the time period that they state, jumping through whichever hoops they ask you to. That said, personally, I have taken some of these up previously and have not been disappointed. On principle, I print off everything to do with the offer (including every page when I am completing details) - just in case.

Thanks for the advice.
The reason i'm considering the talkworld offer was primarily because they claimed to send all the cashback ammount within 6 months, and cheaper line rental But having said that, their offer is for 100 crossnetworkminutes, which is dropped to 30 after month 6.
Even though onestopphone offer more mins, i would have to pay a higher line rental £30.
The links mentioned are quite informative but tend to get pretty confusing for my simple brain ???
Lastly I probably will go for the talkworld offer, as mentioned for financial reasons, and the fact that I don't really need much talk minutes.0 -
OSPS do not rely on you dropping tariff after 6 months as their cashback is based on 12 months, therefore they may be good value on the cheaper tariff (though you do have to claim more than once over the year with OSPS rather than the claim in month 6 with Talkworldonline). On both sites it is worth scrolling through the different tariffs (OSPS you change the tariff on the page, Talkworldonline list different deals on different tariffs at the bottom of the page).

I bought a phone from Talkworld just over 6 months ago.
No problem with getting the phone - but their paperwork was terrible. In particular they sent wrong form for cashback and they don't like replying to e-mails.
I'm now waiting to get £240 cashback from them - waiting and hoping with all fingers crossed ???0
