I'm also trying to work out how many others are being interviewed. I know there is someone else in the department after me at 1.30. I think they were trying to get hold of at least 1 other person, but it could be more.

I have gone into super PMA mode. I told the head of department today that I want this job and the next one she is going to advertise and so will be looking to drop my admin post because I feel I need to be back working as a manager and I feel that I've served my 'apprenticeship' as an administrator within the organisation, soaked up the information and now should be doing something with it.

I feel I'm drowning under a mountain of cooking this afternoon. I love cooking but the washing up it produces....sheesh......I'd already done a pile this afternoon which was last night's dinner and breakfast and I've not got a mango lassi/panettone/vegetable cous cous preparation pile of washing up as well as the dinner stuff for tonight knocking on the washing up door and will continue to do so as it grows as I do dinner later!
