Internet charges for 25 MB of browsing in a day double to £2.

Calls to 0500, 0845, 0870, 0844 and 0871 numbers will be charged at 40p per minute.

Calls to 0800 numbers will be charged at 25p per minute.

They clearly havent taken any notice of Ofcom advice re 0870 charging,from the 1/8/09.

It seems Ofcom is pretty toothless. If the mobile companies don't like what Ofcom order them to do they take them to court and win. The above rules just mean that so long as Orange puts the price of their 0870 calls on their website and have a few leaflets in their shops they are covered. As usual Ofcom have issued instructions but left too many loopholes. They should have forced the mobile companies to provide a recorded announcement of the cost or just forced them to include the calls in calls packages.
