Bought a bike for a fiver, was a bit rougher than described when I collected. Stuck it back on ebay, with decent picture and full description including faults and it sold for £50...

I brought for £300 a Dell top of the range Business Computer. From Dell Outlet on Ebay. Computer is being sold on Dell for £750 as its top of the range. Plus as its a business computer get 3 year next day repairs inculded in the price. Plus I got a free Dell mouse and keyboard which I sold for £30. The reason it was so cheap? Slight scratch on the outside case.

My biggest ebay bargain was recently. I bought Season 2 of The Secret Life Of Us on dvd. 3 disk box set, original Region 4 release for £4.71. It cost the seller £2.41 to post too!

Ooh I've had loads of bargains!

Stuff like belts and hairbands my daughter wanted from ASOS for £1, with cheap or free p&p.

    Textbooks for school.

Beauty products that a well known beauty channel has got me hooked on but whose full retail prices I can no longer afford.

DVDs for about the same price as a rental - then I sell them on again of course.

Ebay is always one of the places I look when I'm looking to buy anything.

I bought a gorgeous pair of Office Starburts sandals on 14/05/09 & paid £5.50 for the shoes plus £2.50 P&P, I couldn't walk in them as the heels were higher than the description had stated & I'm useless at walking in heels!!! lol
I stuck them back on ebay and on 08/07/09 (so I'd had them less than 2 months) they sold for £28.00 and the seller asked for next day delivery as she was going away which was £6.70!
So altogether I spent £8.00 on them and sold them for £34.70, which is a difference of £26.70!!!!! Fantastic! I think I was just lucky that when I resold them it was coming up to summer holiday time. I'll def be making sure I sell summer stuff in the summer etc from now on!

  • Got a swinging crib for baby due in January for £13, only 4 months old. Will obviously get new mattress for it but was really pleased with the price of the crib. :)
