Very good '3' Mobile deal - Smart Phone

Some folks on here helped me out with a problem a few months back, so hopefully this post might help a few others out and karma rules once again. This involves using a cashback site, using the 'refer a friend' scheme and cleverly talking the online support people into giving you a voucher code.

Three (3) Mobile have an offer on the Nokia E71 until this Friday (31st July 2009) which costs £20pm (less 2.5% VAT relief) and gives you the following;

Free handset
200 anytime any network minutes
unlimited texts
unlimited email*
unlimited internet*
300 3 to 3 calls
Unlimited Skype calls

*Max 1gb data allowance, although I've been told by different sources (3 Store, 3 Customer Support, 3 Online Support - guess it really is the magic number!) that it's 1gb capped and another has said it's unlimited and includes the Internet Max add on. I don't know and I'm assuming it's capped at 1gb.

If you register with Quidco and search for 'Three Mobile' you will see that if you successfully sign up to a new contract, specifically the Texter 20 package, after three months you'll recieve £47.50. It's tracked immediately on my Quidco page, so fingers crossed.

Now to maximise your earnings you should take advantage of Three's Refer-a-friend offer. Assuming you're just taking out a mobile phone contract, you and your friend can earn £30 each just by entering your friend's Three mobile phone number on the checkout page. If you don't know someone but are a registered member, PM or email me and I'll give you my three number to use.

Thirdly, if you go on the Three website and access the online support, ask a question such as "are there any offers if I take out a contract online today?" and they'll more than likely give you a voucher code for either;

2000 unlimited 3 to 3 calls or a £20 accesories voucher to use in their webstore for a future purchase (voucher comes with phone and only when you take out a contract).

Three aren't going to make this easy so this is how you go about completing the deal (Remember I still need to confirm that this has worked in three months when the Cashback and Refer-a-friend deal both validate, but I think it's a good bet).

First. Delete your cookies.
2. Log into Quidco and search for the Three offer and go to the Three website
3. Choose the phone deal you want (E71 for £20pm in my case) and add to basket
4. Click on 'Chat with one of our expert advisors'
5. Ask the advisor about any current offers (as mentioned above) and note down the code. If the offer isn't of interest ask if they have any others.
6. Enter the voucher code on the 'my basket page'. Keep the chat box open while you do this, the advisor will guide you through it.
7. Ask about Refer-a-friend. They'll send you a link which if you click will open a new page.
8. In the original page Quidco opened, where you should still be at the 'my basket' page, click the button that says 'Buy Now'.
8. On the first page where you enter your personal details, check that the last information box is for 'Refer a friend number' or something to that effect. If it's not there, go back and reopen the link the advisor sent you for it. No click on 'Buy Now' again, if it doesn't appear don't proceed. Start the process again, right from clearing out the cookies.

That should work, well it worked for me. £47.50 through Quidco, £30 for refer a friend (another £30 to my friend) and a £20 voucher which I'll use to either buy a bluetooth headset for a laptop cushion. So nearly £100 for 5 mins work and on a contract I was going to take out anyway. Good luck and any questions post in this thread.

This deal has been running for months now.

However, 3 are quite hot making sure you only get Quido OR refer a friend recently so don't assume that you will get both.
