Have to agree Woby Tide, sorry OP but I am going to edit your font colour and remove the caps to make for easier reading.

What about running it through the change-case option in a word processor? Or, do you mean you can’t actually make alterations to the body of the text, only additions?

  • To answer the OP's question...the O2 Online pay as you go is the best. It offers you either 300 texts or 100 minutes per month just for topping up by £10 each month.

You are able to buy these SIM cards from O2 direct, but every 2-3 weeks they give loads away for free. There's a thread on the Freebies board I think that lets you know when these are available.

Can you change from O2 contract to O2 PAYG and keep the number? Or would alstone8 have to go through the hassle of two network migrations (from 02 to somewhere else, then back again to 02)?

One thing to bear in mind is the issue of how much do you actually use your phone? You didn't state whether you use all your minutes and texts each month, or whether they're wasted.

I think you may be right - don't think you can go from O2 contract to O2 P&G directly with the same number - you could always try calling them.
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!

If the contract has finished it's minimum term then it's not a problem to move to PAYG. Just call up O2 customer services and they should do it without any problems. Just as to terminate the contract and they have it converted into this form of O2 PAYG with bolt ons. May not even need a new sim card!

I know that it's possible to port your number from PAYG to contract....I did it last year. Not sure about the other way around though.

I work for 3, and I know that it's not possible to do a 3 to 3 port at all.

I would remark that the correct price of the OP's contract is £30, so maybe he/she uses more than the inclusive minutes?

In which case finding another contract with cashback might be better than payg. But if going for payg anyway, then O2 gives the possibility of the best value in minutes
