I recently bought a few printers off the laptopsdirect website. They were IP3600 pixma printers and a bargain at £30 each. I thought I'd buy a few, because of the low cost. I also phoned their sales to query the price, to which they agreed it was a good deal at that price. The advert also appeared on their 'feature' webpage, as if to drive home the point.
The p&p cost was kept right down to £10, even though I bought a few of them. I thought it was a great deal, acctually.
I received the printers the end of last week but to my diappointment they were all IP1900 printers not IP3600 printers as advertised.
So I got on the phone but unfortunately this type of problem has to be reported through their website via e-messaging / returns page. Anyway, this is what I did. 3 days later I received an authorisation to return the items. HOWEVER, they expect me to pay to return the items.
Now theres two problems here that I can see:
1) They advertised IP3600s at £30 but did not deliver them
2) They are asking me to foot the bill (return p&p) for their mistake
3) There no one on the phone that can help, all is done by emesaging and now that Ive questioned the above they wont respond to any of my emessaging.
What can I do in this situation? Ay ideas?

you shouldn't have to foot the bill to send them back as they sent the wrong order had you of ordered the wrong item and wanted to change them it would be different its their responsibility to replace the orderEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0
