ADVICE REQD PLEASE

Used to Pay Monthly years ago and thought they were crap as you got no minutes etc per month.

Currently on Virgin PAYG but spending about £15 pm on calls (no texts) and am looking for a new phone. Been looking at Threads on here for weeks and started to think that instead of paying £100 ish for new phone and £15pm on calls I could get new phone for free and still only pay £15pm line rental with free calls.

My last Virgin bill was for 1hr and 20 mins of calls for the month.

Anyway seen an offer for the following;

Motorola V545 on Orange with 12 months 1/2 price line rental on OVP vodafone anytime 200. Says minutes are for "Standard fixed lines, other Orange mobiles & calls to other mobile networks".

I am thinking this offer is better than staying with Virgin but just unsure and weary of these offers.

Offer is with Mobileshop.co.uk - anybody used them?

Advice greatly received - thanks.

    It is triband.

    Don't listen to all you hear.

    I have it and used it on the move from Manchester to Liverpool and down to Redditch, even used it in the Mersey tunnel without problem.

    People used to say Orange weren't very good. Some still say so cos of the experience they had with Orange some five years ago!
