MONEY MORAL DILEMMA. Should a desperate housewife condone a cheating boss?

If Gabby accepts the offer and tells nobody, surely Carlos will wonder where this sudden monthly bonus came from. Then questions would be asked anyway.
Telling someone else they have a cheating spouse is never a good idea. All right it happened, but would Gabby be willing to be the trigger that caused a break up of two friends? I don't think so.
I disagree the payments could be classified as blackmail. If Gabby demanded the money for keeping silent then yes, but not the other way round.
I think she should tell the boss that she won't say anything this time, but if it happens again he will find himself answering some very awkward questions.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0 -

But no "other people" are involved.
"Other people" are not Gabby's conscience.0 -
She should neither inform her friend nor accept the bribe.
The former will only stir up trouble and may have repercussions at work whilst the latter is blackmail (even if it is "volunteered" by her boss).
Say nothing, do nothing.:shhh:0 -
Gabrielle is good pals with her husband, Carlos's, boss and his wife. Yet one day, she catches the boss romancing another woman. When she confronts him, he promises to pay Carlos a £100 bonus every month if she keeps schtum about his cheating ways. They're struggling at the moment; should Gabby spill the beans to the boss's wife or take the cash? (Inspired by Desperate Housewives)
In any case, to speak to the wife about husband is stooping to the lowest form, I'd find it reflection of her own character. A truth that's told with bad intent Beats all the lies you can invent. I didn't say so, Blake said so.

Don't tell, don't take the money. Leave WELL alone.0

No the hell way would I ever take the money. If I was on informal enough terms with him, though, I would kindly request that he told his wife about what he was up to, because she WILL eventually find out.
On a side note, I would be recording every conversation I had with him (prob on my phone), especially the one where I would have confronted him, so that if he does try to blackmail/fire me, he's going to be screwed, and not in the good way. Sadly this wouldn't amount to anything here in the US, as employee rights are almost nil. There's no such thing as the CAB over here.
Though, if "Gabby" were a real person, she might not do the same thing I would. I can honestly see most people just taking the cash because honestly, most people have zero integrity. I don't have kids so it's hard to put myself in her position, but I am financially struggling right now (severely so) for different reasons. Still, I would be looking for a new job the second I found out about his Jon Gosselin-ing.~ R.I.P Heath Ledger, George Carlin, Stan Winston ~

Don't take the money, & don't tell the wife unless she asks.....0

I dont think she should accept the bribe, he should be exposed for what he is. £100 isn't a gr8 deal anyway, not enough to keep schtum anyways!0

By taking the money you are getting involved in other people's affairs, you are accepting a bribe not to tell. Take the moral high-ground, tell the boss straight that you are insulted that he thinks that he can buy your silence, tell him to keep his money and promise him you won't tell his wife. Let them sort their own problems out.0
