I think alot of men in a drunken situation with a girl with a 'reputation' would let their willies get the better of them. Even more so if their girlfriend isn't in the country and their relationship isn't very strong at the time.

Put it this way, at least she isn't a really nice girl who he seduced.
From the sounds of it, he was a bit of a challenge to her because she knew he was taken so she waited til he was drunk and emotionally vulnerable then pounced. There are lots of girls in the world like it.

At least it happened early on in your relationship, imagine if you'd moved in together and you thought everything was fine THEN he slept with her?

I don't think you should break up with him over this. Perhaps see if he can block her number? Some people might argue that you should trust him to enough to not have to do that but it will give you piece of mind to know she can't contact him directly.

If she ever sees you both together, just act really relaxed and happy, don't let her see that she has almost destroyed your relationship, some people get a kick from that and you don't want to give her the satisfaction.

Leave him and stop being a bl00dy idiot. He cheated on you, there is NO excuse for that, yet he seems to have already made up 100 excuses and / or reasons and you believe them? You go away, he f**ks another girl, simple, and you know what, he'll do it again next time he has the chance.

Where is this information about this girl and her reputation coming from?
Is it hearsay from your OH or do you actually know the above for a fact?
The terminology you use ('I think', 'It seems', I'd heard') makes me wonder if this is stuff you've been told - and whether it's actually true.

You probably don't want to hear (or read) this, but I'm not convinced your OH's story quite adds up.

You said in an earlier post (in reply to me) that he didn't want to lie to you - but surely that's exactly what he's been doing for the last 9 months - until he got caught out.
Have you asked him when he would have confessed to this incident if you hadn't caught him out?

Which was it ? And what will stop him from doing it again when he's drunk or unhappy ?

There seem to be so many things that don't add up..........

You can block people, so they can't text you. You can change your phone number so they can't contact you.

He didn't tell you, you caught him out! Funnily enough he is too drunk to remember anything (so you can't question him............) and despite getting a text recently this is supposed to have happened over 9 months ago!!!!!

Personally it doesn't matter how bad my relationship was - if I was going out with someone and they slept with someone else it would be over!!!!
