Toots was well, was on the last day of her treatment but did seem down as she has been told to avoid hard/lumpy foods in case she chokes - she was concerned about what foods that left her - I am sure some of us here will be able to offer her suggestions and told her that I would be posting to ask.
Glad Toots is doing well. Foodwise, smooth vegetable soup, yoghurt, macaroni cheese, fruit smoothies, erm...Penelope_Penguin wrote: »Very excited today - we've been offered a space in a pig club :j We buy a weaner, to be kept in a group of 3 pigs (possibly Gloucester Old Spot) and chip in to the cost of upkeep. We then pay for slaughter and butchery and get to keep the carcase. It's a lot of meat, so we'll need to have some friends buy some of it from us, but don't think that'll be a problem, especially of we make sausages. Busy morning for me ringing round frineds. Please keep everything crossed that DH will agree to this :j
Thats sounds great! Hope DH agrees;)
I'll join you in the HHC Sexymouse, PP etc.

Need to do an advanced search and look for posts over a year old on your user name.
PP - the pig club sounds great.
Really must get some work done. I did reserve DS2s birthday present to collect on the way back but Argos just rang to say it isn't actually in stock so need to think about something else for him.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Rain has just about passed so I'm going to be brave and put some washing on the line. I'm also cleaning out the cup cupboard AND handwashing all the mugs. For some reason, the DW doesn't always get the tea stains off them...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hiya again
Don't worry Soappie - we've quaranteed ourselves already. DD had been 'diagnosed' with it over the phone. The jury's still out with DS and myself. Sadly, we had to unquaranteen ourselves this morning though we did warn the vets. Our elderly puddy cat had to be put to sleep. She was totally fine yesterday and then in the middle of the night she gave up. It's so sad but i'm glad she's not suffering.
So, no flying here still. Just lots of fluids and tissues.
Hugs to everyone who needs them xx0 -
oh mudbath, i hope every one is ok? i really sorry you had to have cat put to sleep, how awful.

Oh Mudders - big hugs love. But she had quite a bit longer than you all expected. And she must have had a wonderful life with you lot xxxxI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
