    I'll join you!

Very excited today - we've been offered a space in a pig club :j We buy a weaner, to be kept in a group of 3 pigs (possibly Gloucester Old Spot) and chip in to the cost of upkeep. We then pay for slaughter and butchery and get to keep the carcase. It's a lot of meat, so we'll need to have some friends buy some of it from us, but don't think that'll be a problem, especially of we make sausages. Busy morning for me ringing round frineds. Please keep everything crossed that DH will agree to this :j

Did jjef report back after going to see toots today??

    xx

Sorry came home had tea & a large glass of wine, and then fell asleep did post quickly on facebook but then went to bed..

Toots was well, was on the last day of her treatment but did seem down as she has been told to avoid hard/lumpy foods in case she chokes - she was concerned about what foods that left her - I am sure some of us here will be able to offer her suggestions and told her that I would be posting to ask.
    Thanks to pigpen and soappie/toots.

I'm in if our illustrious leader will allow me to do my flying on paper - I have an assignment due at the end of the week

snap I am a third of my way through and its due on the 3rd.

Oh and I saw a post asking if jjef and SSL had seen Toots, I presume they have (this may well have already been answered - sorry) but i think they have as Toots knows about my job.

    xx

sorry Jo it slipped out, I was assuming that toots was maybe texting you and that you had told her - very sorry - she was very concerned that you would be going up next weekend just for her and wanted to make sure that that wasnt the case.

List time, I will stick with the main list today as the kitchen looks like a bomb has hit, I also have to finish painting the spare room which OH had started when we were away - just a little glossing and then he can put the new carpet down.

Woohoooooooooooooo soappie can I have my first EVER star please :D:D:D

I can't believe it, it's mostly down to the fact that I kept if clean and tidy from last week seeing as it took so long to get to presentable. I need to get some oven pride to give the oven a proper going over then it should be easy from there on in.

Also reconciled a bank statement that just arrived in the post, was the only post today so that is all dealt with as well.

Now to make a start on the stairs.

ETA jjef I saw your name on the thread I first posted on, it was Jan 2007 (when the thread lasted for he whole month!) I did a search on my old posts.
