Triker Happy wedding anniversary hun!!!!
I really feel for you re: this virus thing/dragging yourself through syrup thing.
I had a virus earlier in the year, and it completely knocked me out. I didn't feel like I had the energy to lift my hand, much less get on with my normal life! After 4 weeks I realised that I wasn't going to suddenly feel better, and I had to start doing normal stuff again.
I remember feeling like crying in Lidl, leaning on the trolley feeling like death, thinking I can't do this.... but making myself carry on.... I kept telling myself that I could sleep at bedtime, and not before. It was really hard, but as the week went on I found I could do more, and after a fortnight I was back to normal. I have no idea if this is the same for youI just wanted to explain how I dealt with my post viral thing. (((hugs))) tho love, hope you start to feel better and the tests don't reveal anything horrible.

Jo - so sorry to hear you are sad hun. Facebook can be an evil thing of the modern world. Life isn't about holidays lovely, it is about the Mum who is there when you bump your knee, who reads you a bedtime story, who shares your fears and you successes - that's you sweetie and that is what she will remember x
Triker - Happy Anniversary to you and Mr T I hope you are feeling better by the weekend, how many years is it?
Kids had gammon for dinner (their favourite so they are happy bunnies)
Apple crumble in the AGA for when they have finished playing cricket in the garden.
Managed to plant out my leeks this afternoon and take DS3 to his swimming lesson and return the library books.
Time to tidy up from dinner and do a HHPThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hi all I am afraid to say I have done none of my list since the last time I was on. I have however managed to have a quick redo of the kitchen after cooking bits for freezer (and using up fridge odds and ends) AND I managed a bit of gardening (about 1hour) in between the torrential showers sooooo no more stars for me
. Will try and catch up tomorrow but I am working all day so it will depend very much on tomorrows list. I can only try!!

No flying done.
Going out to get drunk.
Ex promised he wouldnt do certain things on holiday with pumpkin so i didnt miss out on firsts. His sister has just posted pics of them on her facebook doing some of what he promised they wouldnt.. and is cooing how good it is too have the "whole family together" blah blah blah..then rest of his cousins etc are all commenting.. yet i post pics of pumpkin and none them bother....
Silly i know but Fuming, upset and wondering why i bother anymore.
Starting to think i was just a young an guilable egg donor with a wallet in his eyes.
Going to drown my sorrows with my friend.
See you tomorrow.
Ok now Johanne, listen to this bit next because this is important.
You are a fantastic Mum
You will do all the hard, consistant, boring stuff.............that's what being a proper parent is!
Don't buy into the game playing by your ex's family, think about Pumpkin and how nice it is for her to be accepted and wanted by many people, believe me thats much better than family members rejecting her.
Think to yourself, will Pumpkin be having a nice time despite people going against your wishes? She is only little, there is no way that she'll remember this stuff, she just has to have had a nice time, thats all you should worry about.
I know the 'family' stuff stings, whether that meant I don't know but isn't that better than seeing your daughter deliberately left out and not included in family events.
You can rise above this stuff, put it where it needs to be, a miniscule amount of time that your daughter won't remember. Try not to be any more upset sweetie, I expect you're really missing her anyway and probably just want her back, which she will be, with you, her brilliant Mum. xxxxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Thanks hun, gruesome feeling innit?;)
I cannot pinpoint the time from when I went from feeling ok to feeling so awful. Been putting it own to the peri menopause stuff but who knows?
It's because I can't even drink alcohol anymore and the joint pain that prompted the docs. Plus a few friends said they were concerned about me.
Gawd knows what going on but I would just like to be able to function without that 'wiped out very disconnected feeling', its horrible.
Anyways I'm getting up in a mo to do some bluddy flying, can't stand the state of the place aany longer.:rotfl:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
