Loophole - cashback cards and gambling sites

How about this:
1. Get an amex platinum cash back card;
2. Deposit the maximum allowed under your credit limit to a gambling website which allows more than one card to be registered at one time eg victor chandler poker;
3. Withdraw this deposit straight away onto the other registered card (preferably a debit card);
4. Pay off the amex with the money you have paid onto your debit card.

You would be satisfying the cashback ts and cs and ought to get the cashback without spending or risking anything.

Does anybody know any reason why this would not work?

I dont know of any bookie that accepts amex.

If you use a Skycard Mastercard you get a free £5 bet with Skybet for every £250 spent. An effective cashback rate of 2% :j

Tho I've never tried it, I would imagine bookies would get a bit upset and close the account if you repeatedly make deposits and withdrawals without betting the money.

shhh! deposited £300 in betfair and vowed to refund half of any winnings. All sorts of amounts went back 2,3,5,20 £ but every time on my visa statement the withdrawl showed up with a £2.5 cash advance refund :beer: . Long live visa.
