Just placed an order - doesn't say out of stock on the website but as an earlier poster said, you get an out of stock email after ordering. Can't see them being delivered at this price but worth a punt.

Yup I decided to go for it also, on Credit card deffo, and got an out of stock email.
Honestly doubt we'll get them at this price, but as you say, worth a punt.

yeh i had the same thing..
..at which point i didnt continue with the order0 -
After I made my purchase today, this is what it said at the bottom of the automated e-mail that I got sent:
**Please note that an amount of one pound will be preauthorised on your
credit
card as a security check. No money will be debited until goods are
despatched.**
Again, I'm slightly concerned but am not in a state of panic as I hope paying by credit card should offer that added level of protection if the whole thing is too good to be true.0 -
I had pretty much the same message with the pre-authorisation of the credit card. I wasnt too concern as I placed my order via my credit card.
The only thing I need to do is change the delivery address.
Well lets hope we all get one.
Question: Is LCD TVs better or Rear projection LCD TVs better?

I bought the 17" version of this TV earlier in the year for about £580 (RRP £799), in fact I'm watching it now. It's a great set, and looks even better on the wall. A point though is to get propper widescreen on it you are still left with black bars top and bottom due to the screen resolution. It's not a major issue, and you do have the full screen option if you really don't like the bars, meaning everything is a little taller. Sound quality is also very good for the size of speakers.
I noticed in Makro last week they were selling this 23" version for £599+VAT which was the cheapest price I'd seen it anywhere, so £448 does make me wonder ???. I'd be tempted to give it a go anyway, but my card is a little full with Christmas and all.. :-/0
