flight help please to Faro

my partner and I are going over to Faro for a long weekend for his mums birthday, but cannot find a cheap flight anywhere. We would like to go from a northern airport (manc, notts, birm, donc) we would like to be away for 4 days ie thurs to sun or sat to tues. the cheapest we have found is £110 each!
we are looking to go the weekend around the 25th sept

help please, or we won't be able to afford to go

    I would book it quick, i think thats a bargain just put it into perspective. Thats £55 each way for approx 2 1/2 flight, train fares in this country are dearer than that.

    I would second stephb34, if that is a return fare it is as good . Cheapest I can see around these dates is the Mon-Thurs from Liverpool with Easyjet. Whith no hold baggage it is £68 each

    For anyone looking for flights, use skyscanner.net

    Will always find the cheapest european deal around. you go directly to the airlines' own site to book. Includes taxes and charges too for a realistic view of how much it will cost.
    Vanquis- Limit £1250, balance £0
    Capital One Classic- Limit £800, balance £0
    Natwest Current Account- £800 OD limit, approx £600 OD
    Loan- £3300, will be paid off by Dec 09
    Student Loan- paid off Dec 09 (That's £150 a month extra! Woohoo)
    Empire Catalogue Account- £750 limit, balance £30
