samsung tocca

hi, jsut got the samsung tocca yesterday, i have been told that if you turn your phone on its side whilst texting then you get a qwerty keypad come up but that does not happen on mine.
does anyone have any ideas about getting the qwerty keypad up on the phone?

Hi which Tocco is it you have ?
I myself have the Tocco Ultra slide down keyboard, and it doesnt have onscreen QWERTY keyboard
ps: I hate the phone.

i dont have the slide down one - its jsut the normal phone. but 2 people i know also have the phone and says it can get a qwerty keypad - trying to find if there is some sort of trick to it or whether mine dosent have it. I did have a bit of a search last night but will go and take a look at the link you posted thanks.

Just asked my daughter as she got this phone this week, she says yes it does happen but she doesn't like using it and thats as far as I got in the conversation, bit early for her after a late night

im very confused why i cant get this to happen! as i have had a touchscreen phone for the past 5 years and always have a qwerty keypad i am finding it very difficult to going back to the old way of texting - i hope i figure it out soon!

my daughter has tocco lite too. and yeah her qwerty works i had a go nd found out that the qwerty came on when i was searching for a name to put in befor i attempted to txt

Hi which phone do you have ..tocco, tocco lite or tocco ultra and why do you hate it??

You need to hold it level with the ground not just on it's side and is should work. I brought the white one last week, Not bad for £97!

Sorry, the Samsung Tocco (F480) does not possess a digital full qwerty keyboard, the Tocco Lite does.

yes it's the tocco lite that does, not the tocco.

Incidentally, I have a tocco and hate it too!
