Not to mention I am already a grand out of pocket plus the solicitors fees bill we will have if it falls through. If the one we have goes for an OFS at any point she would never get her money anyway now she has done what she has done and the other restrictions take
Priority anyway she will never get her money but some people are just vile and vindictive this is a family member for us which makes it worse
The bloke I'm dealing with effectively stole some land from me and when I tried to get it back, and it went to Trial, the biased judge failed to adjourn when the audio loop at court wasn't working (I'm deaf) and he forced me to enter into a 2 day trial with no legal representation, and when I had a panic attack midway through the hearing and withdrew from proceedings, he awarded the other side t£30k in legal fees, half of which was a success fee to which he wasn't entitled!
So, then this evil b'stard got a CO and when I finally managed o sell my home, he deliberately interfered with the sale by threatening and lying to my purchasers.
I'm becoming ill with the stress of fighting the case with no lawyer whilst the other side has a whole team on them he brings to court.
I don't think it will end well, but like you, I'm in too deep to pull out.

Lawyers are mostly horrible…. or at least the ones I've come across are… they only care about the bottom line.
I met a lovely person online who is a paralegal and who has been helping me for the last couple of years… He hasn't charged me a penny and without his help I would never have reach the High Court…he is an absolute hero… if only there were more like him. D450 -
Well, at least we have the amazing EggBox… and I take comfort in the fact that there are plenty of us in this club… we must all stand together and overcome this injustice!!

Can anyone advise what to do next....I have 2 restrictions registered against my house. I'm just remortgaging it in order to buy out my ex. I have made offers to the companies who hold the restrictions A have said yes (about a 30% reduction) B have said they will think about it and get back to me in 10 days.
If I pay the lower amount (hopefully for both of them) I understand they will mark the credit file as partially satisfied -does this matter? Is there any come bs k with only making partial settlements?
TIA0 -
Last ditch attempt by buyer still desperate to go ahead so I've told the estate agents he should contact land registry himself for advice sbd given him the name and number and also given he the name and number of a solicitor who knows about restrictions. Can't do any more than I have let's see how bad he wants the house change to a solicitor in the know and it could be sorted. It's his call now ....:0

Not as long as you get it in writing that they have both accepted your offer as a full and final settlement of the outstanding debt[/COLOR]0 -

That's a good sign but ensure whoever talks to the LR doesn't ask how Restrictions are removed but, instead, what happens to the Restrictions if the property is sold to a third party for value. Adding do they become overreached and, therefore, are cancelled?0 -
