blackberry curve 8900 bbc iplayer help

Hi,
I've just got a blackberry curve 8900 and have been searching to see how to use the bbc iplayer on it. I know I can download programmes to watch but does anyone know if I can use it "live" like I can on my ipod touch? I've got unlimited internet with my contract so just wondered if anyone could help?
