£90  for a pair of shoes that last only a couple of months.
Take them back, see what they say but i would say an exchange at lease but a refund is also likely, depends on what you want. TBH i would even expect a £30 pair of shoes to last more that 2 months.
stand your ground. Goods not fit for the purpose.
Be nice though - you get a lot further that way
I would agree with that,. Recently returned some sandals to Evans that cost £20 & had no problem getting replacement.
Good luck0 -
For a £90 pair of shoes I would certainly take them back and explain the problem and see what they could do.
And if that doesn't work your local cobblers will be able to reattach the heel no problem, and it'll probably last longer than the exchanged pair of shoes.
I had to do this with a pair of sandals I bought, didn't wear for ages and then the sole started flapping on their first outing. My superglue attempt didn't work, and my local cobbler glued it back on just fine.I love surprises!0 -
my dad took some shoes back to M&S after 18months because the sole split, he had paid £100 for them, he got his money backGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0

I once took a pair of shoes bakc to M&S because the soles had worn out after 3 months.Their reply was , these are dress shoes so you shoudln't be wearing them everyday.
I'd like to know how you are supposed to know? especially with men's shoes? Obviously you wouldn't wear glittery heels to the office every day, but a plain looking pair of black lace-ups? not nearly so obvious.
I seem to remember gettign my money back.0 -
I took them back today and got a refund no problem.
Thanks guys0
