O2 Simplicity ....Please help.

My daughter's 18 month contract with O2 is finishing at the beginning of August and she's told them she wishes to cancel when it finished, and they didn't offer anything worth bothering with.
So, my question is, can she keep her number if you opt for their 12 month Simplicity deal which pays you £100 if you buy through Quidco.

She would need to move her number to another network first, then sign up to Simplicity and move it back, otherwise it is just a tariff change.

If she has told them she wishes to cancel she is likely to lose her number when they cut the line. Obtaining and using a PAC to move your number automatically terminates the contract on your old network, cancelling cuts your number off.

Yes just port the number over to another networks payg, like vodafone, then sign up via simplicity (obviously after you get your pac from voda).

This will take around 10 days to complete in total, which'll be a pain. But it's doable.
