american airlines...can i pre book seats or no?

looking at a flight to lax with american airlines, does anyone know if you can pre book your seats before check in ?
any comments on the service etc ? would be on a 777

If your booking has been ticketed, yes, go https://www.americanairlines.co.uk
Alcoholic beverages are for purchase in Economy, breakfast on the return flight can be very sweet, too sweet for me so I tend to avoid it.

You can hold a reservation and seats on aa.com without paying immediately. As soon as you purchase (must be done within 24 hours), the seats are confirmed but they're yours in the meantime. Some seats such as exit and bulkhead seats can only be reserved by AA's AAdvantage Frequent Flyer elite members but you'll still have plenty of choice.
Breakfast on outbound flights is different from inbound overnight flights. Neither are that exciting to be honest.0
