i am trying to get back on the menu planning wagon. i am trying to lose weight and that along with the odd bit of decent weather seems to have left me spendng a fortune on salad and veg etc,
i have just done a bit of a cook off and have made the following to eat during the week(just have to work out which order they will need eating in)

    boston baked beans

big pot of bacon and lentil soup

big bowl of kohl rabi, carrot and apple coleslaw (probably to go in wraps with halloumi)

    big pot of ragu

also have sugar snap peas, green beans and carrots that will need eating.

sorry this isnt a nice organised menu plan like everyone elses but i have REALLY got out of the swing of menu planning and shopping accordingly :o

i have cupboards that are bulging, its ridiculous really :o:o

My menus start Thursday as my veg bag is delivered on Wednesday.

Thurs: Chorizo Omelettes with chips from chip shop and HG salad
Fri: Pork Chops with Mushroom and Chive Cream, Rice and Veg
Sat: Buffet food (at a Wedding - and really nice buffet food it was too...)

But I still haven't come up with anything to do with the rest of the broad beans, the cabbage or the beetroot. Does cooked beetroot freeze?

Don't know about the beetroot, but Broad beans are lovely in a risotto. Yum Yum Yum!
