This is the plan, but some things may be switched around.
Can't have anything different as don't get paid until friday and this is literally all I have in. Only have £5.00 in my wallet to last the week and don't want to use it if i don't have to.
Anyway, only me to feed so should be doable (if not a little boring!)
Mon: mixed bean chilli con carne
Tues: hot quiche, potatoes and tomatoes
Wed: beans, poached eggs and waffles
Thur: tuna pasta bake
Fri: leftover tuna pasta bake
Sat: Not sure as grocery shopping coming - possibly beans and waffles again
Sun: Roast chicken and veg etc
Have a good week everyoneDebt free since May 20150 -

I like this thread - I can quite happily talk about food for hours!
My plan's already gone a bit wrong as I've just realised (after the shops have shut, of course) that I forgot to buy the cream that was supposed to make a creamy sauce to go with the pork tonight. My (revised) plan for the week is now:
Sun: breaded pork with peas and potatoes (from the freezer)
Mon: 3 cheese and spinach lasagne
Tues: a cheesy bake thingy, with the rest of the spinach
Wed: pasta with cheese and bacon
Thurs: a minted lamb chop (from the freezer) with salad
Fri: chicken, cheese and bacon burger
Sat: not sure yet, but it will probably involve cheese
(You might guess from that that I've got a fair bit of cheese to use up. I know I could freeze it but I'm currently trying to empty the freezer, not put more stuff in it!)Back after a very long break!0 -

Thought I'd de lurk and post. I love reading everyone's ideas/plans so thought it was about time I put my 2p worth up.
Lots of veg from garden at the mo - courgettes, lettuce, cucumber, cabbage, beetroot, few carrots, few peas, french beans, new potatoes, onions (OH's main hobby!)
Sat lunch - HM veg soup (most from the garden) HM bread
eve - turkey & veg stir fry and noodles
Sun lunch - HM lettuce & pea soup HM bread
eve - roast chick, cabbage, courgettes, fr beans, new pots, gravy/ stewed gooseberries and custard
make stock from carcass and save all leftover meat
Mon - stuffed peppers (rice & leftover chick, mushrooms, courgette, onion)
Tue - pasta and HM pesto, salad
Wed - lesleygaye's spicy chicken cakes and veg
Thurs - HM chicken and veg broth, rhubarb crumble
Fri - OH and dd - sea bass (from freezer - very reduced (1/4 of full price) at Tesco last week) I'm at an evening wedding do
Lunches are usually sandwiches (one lot with left over chicken), cheese, tuna etc, sometimes beans on toast, or crackers and cheese. If I'm at work I just have fruit and yogurt.
If you have room to grow any of your own stuff it is well worth it - if OH does it that is even better!Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!
