Can anyone help with a template letter i can send to Moorcroft?
Have just received a letter of intended litigation (its for a debt with Sainsburys Credit Card £2,700.00)
Last paid £1.00 November '08. Letters written to Sainsburys and Blair Oliver Scott solicitors. Have had no formal letter agreeing to offer of £1.00 a month from anybody?!
And now this Moorcroft are involved.
Who should i be dealing with?!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hiya

Stall things send a CCA - that buys you a month or so to prove they have a valid agreement. Moorcroft are scum and easy to get on side, dont worry - they cannot make you bankrupt or anything!

I've just created a thread have a read of this and i'll post you a letter in a minute...http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1837507

For details of whether your debt is unenforceable, read here:

    Link 1 - #28

    Link 2 - #29

    Link 3 - #30

Link 3 contains the CCA request but if you click here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=20459909#post20459909 you'll get all the above in the same thread.

Really? But at £1 it'll only take 225 years to repay. I think it's ridiculous that nobody is taking you up on your offer!!!

I think you need to provide a breakdown of your income/expenduture, although dont be suprised however if the lender doesnt ask for proof
