O2 simplicity - upgrade options?

I'm looking at transferring my 3 number to a o2 simplicity contract as my 3 coverage is rubbish and the o2 tariff is just what I need. There's nothing I want at the moment on the 18/24 month contracts from o2, so was wondering what kind of upgrade options people have had when transferring from 1 to the other.

Or do you have the usual packages available to you like on the website? I don't mind either, and am prepared to wait until later in the year for different phone options.

Bought a bog standard unlocked phone from Carphone Warehouse, current one is a Nokia bought with a Vodafone £10 card-card I gave to daughter for the Roaming offer. Have O2 Simplicity (30 day notice) have 600 minutes, free O2 to O2 calls, unlimited landline calls and I think 1000 texts (more than I possibly use anyway )Cost is £19 98 or thereabouts. So far really pleased-coverage is much better than T mobile
